01.
I have been the FIRST three times in my life. I am the FIRST college graduate in my family. I am the FIRST African American male Principal in MSD Wayne Township history. I am also the FIRST African American male Principal in Park Tudor Schools history.

I am a contributing Education Writer to the Indianapolis Recorder, the Nations 4th oldest African American newspaper. I have covered topics on Raising a Student Athlete, Consider Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Parent Engagement, and more.
03.
I am the recipient of the MG Raby Award for my work in equity and inclusion at Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center. Ms. Raby was a champion of inclusion and acceptance, and this award honors those who continue the spirt of her work.
04.
I am the recipient of the WRTV Jefferson Award for Multiplying good for my work engaging boys into our school. I started a group called Young Men of Purpose that grew from 15 members to over 155 in three years. Our goal was to engage young men in the classroom, culture of our school, and help them be driven by the pursuit of their purpose.
05.
I have been married for 20+ years to my wife and friend. I have an awesome and funny son. My family is my peace and through experience I have learned how to balance work, life, and family.
